Hi. Does anyone know how people make perfumes? Or the sticks that you burn and they give off smells.

And... I want to know about plants and medicines too! So if anyone knows just send me a message, okay? I don't want to know everything, just one or two things. Thanks.

Hi, can I meet with someone who can make a ball of water without it touching anything? I want to try an attack on it, so - if you don't care about water exploding and you have a free hour sometime, let me know! Thanks!

[ For the day (or even a few days before or after), Red can be found in a few number of places. First are trips into the bakery, grocery shop, convenience store -- heck, he'll visit all of the coffee/tea/restaurants/places that look like they serve food in them (oh, maybe he'll get a glimpse of that beautiful lady today...!). He shall also be carrying Very Big Bags that food is going in. After that - or somewhere in all of that, whenever the place opens - is a visit to the flower shop, the boy look at the flowers with his pikachu on his shoulder but really, he's waiting to see someone who runs it!

After that and grabbing a quick bite to eat is a visit to the Willow Tree, and then a visit to the Farmlands to see if there's anything to be done and to check in on Luke Skywalker's bantha Hamal. Doesn't matter if you're back to seeing him Luke, Red and him are bros. Red's pokémon Venusaur is out as always around this time (and everyone else, though those guys are eating), at a section of the ground with her multiple vines on the ground. Her flower is glowing softly, and the ground around her is actually poking out with small dots of green... is that grass? And do the plants in front of her look more grown?

Later on comes his training with a few people, as well as going to the Battle Dome when a room's available. Except there the trainer isn't always going to be inside, instead watching over them from the viewable pane on the second floor. (Hey is that Vegeta?? THAT GUY...) But there will be times when he's in there as well. Hey man who knows.

Considering the type of training they've been undertaking though, Red's not going to be at the battle dome the whole day -- his pokémon will need the rest. They'll take a walk into the forest, whether joined at whatever moment by Snorlax and Venusaur (Pikachu is an always, though the little mouse may be up in the trees at the time), sometimes stopping so that they can just chill. Red might be taking advantage of that whole just relaxing thang, but he may be testing out some tricks with the spells he's learnt. One of those will be creating a ball of light and then chucking it, bouncing it to go far - and then making it go in a flash of light at his command. What a nice waste of time.

And let's just throw in some other options too! Maybe they're on this day or a day before. Screw the rules of time. Training is an important thing for the trainer, and Red likes to make use of the open land once people get out of the forest towards the mountains. Nice and spacious, though sometimes he makes use of the teleporter to the hot springs to test the mountain ground as well.

Because they want to make some earthquakes, though trying to be mindful of other people around. With their training these days focusing more and more on how one uses their energy to cause bigger damage, getting it to do more than just shake the ground is worth testing out, and there's a different between the dirty earth and the rocky stone of the mountains...

(Gonna try hopping off if they hear anything suspicious approaching though! Yeah buddy we're talking about you. You know who you are.)

And then some days there's a visit to the beach. Big bird Lugia, are you going to be helping with that sometimes? Or at least a ride back to the village? Thanks bro. Because they've been having test matches against each other, Red's three pokémon against such an astounding legendary of the sea. And when they're not fighting? It's chilling on the beach together, Red with his journal out to read to the oversized seagull.

Or a Snorlax might be punching the water. Or kicking it. The sand too. Who even likes sand. ]

[A pokemon for everything (and with over 700 different kinds it's not far off). Though Ginia patiently waits for him to continue on as she finishes folding her crane. She grabs another piece of paper and mulls over what to write before settle for her mother's name.]

[ Hmm, he's trying to think... ]

There.... there's chanseys? People say that if you're lucky they'll give you their eggs to eat... [ he looks back to Ginia ] And they're really big too! I've seen one!

[ -- oops did he raise his voice? Hand to mouth (wait that's stupid too, now you're blushing, Red). ]

[Being given an egg to eat as a sign of good luck seems a bit morbid, but people eat chicken and duck eggs all the time without any issues. And his voice may have gotten loud, but there's no one else around so it's okay.]

How about bad luck? In my world, there's a superstition you'll have bad luck if a black cat crosses your path.

[ Oh, this one is a little more easy... ]

Gastlys and haunters, I think. They're attracted to trouble. [ But he tilts his head. ] I don't think that's a legend though. [ .. ] But it's pretty bad luck to be stuck in a tower full of them.

[Ginia's beginning to notice a very literal and common naming trend with Pokemon.]

Going to go on a limb and guess they're ghost types. Is there really a tower full of them?

[ Oh, he didn't say that, did he? Red nods, but there's a way his expression lowers some with his mind going back to that place. ]

The town people told me there's not usually so many, but it was packed when I visited it. Mediums were trying to deal with them, but most of the ones I met in there were possessed by the pokémon.

...I met an actual ghost there too. [ there was a moment of hesitation before Red admits that, and yet considering what he says after, a small smile creeps back onto Red's face, even though there's a tinge of sadness to it ] But she moved on.

[ and, a tiny huff of a laugh ] If you believe me.

[Ginia remembers an earlier conversation with Red, about Team Rocket and a grave site where ghosts were possessing and attacking people. So even if the idea of a real ghost (as opposed to a ghost pokemon) is strange to imagine, especially coming from a world with nothing supernatural or paranormal at all, it's believable. Red's an honest kid.

Besides, she already met a ghost on the draft and knew someone that was a death god so hey.]

I believe you. I'm glad the ghost could move on.

[ He almost wants to talk about her, how she was a marowak, a mother, but he's not sure that it's the time or right to do it. But he's happy reading the words, turning the phone back to her after. ]

I never believed in ghosts before.... would you have believed in ghosts before you came here?

[Ginia's quick to respond with a shake of her head. There were all sorts of shows and books about haunted places and ghosts. They made for good stories and entertaining late night TV but there was nothing substantial.]

No such thing in my world, though I guess a lot of things common in other worlds don't exist in mine.

Ghosts aren't common in my world... [ He wonders if she knows about them, but she does obviously does, so- ] Don't you have ghost exist at all back in your world?

[ Which isn't shocking, but just making sure. ]

Only in stories. People have tried to find evidence ghosts exists, but there hasn't been any. No magic in my world either.

People can't do magic in my world either. Oh-- but did I ever tell you how some people in my world are meant to be able to spend spoons with their mind?

[ For some reason, saying that helps him to lower his voice more. ]

[Ginia shakes her head, intrigued by the idea. He mentioned psychic type pokemon before, but actual psychic abilities?]

That's very interesting. Some people in my world claim to have psychic abilities, but there's no basis for it either and most claims quickly disproved.

I've never seen it myself... but you know, that tower had those mediums in it... and one of them was able to make a space where the pokémon couldn't touch us? Maybe that was like a psychic power... [ hmmm... ]

Anyway, that's what people say. I've never seen it myself unless that counts. But what about your world? It sounds like people are trying to be like pokémon in mine, but if ghosts or psychics don't exist, where did the idea come from?

Legends and lore, mostly, or things that can't be explained. People who were wrongfully killed or die before they could complete something, doomed to haunt the earth, extracting their vengeance on those who wronged them. Almost every culture in my world has some story or legend about ghosts or spirits.

[All fairly morbid sounding too, but they did make for good stories around a campfire or around Halloween.]

[ Hmm. Red's thinking on that for a moment... ]

... isn't it funny how we all have the same words for them too? People have certain words for certain stuff here, but we both know what ghosts and psychics are.

It's fascinating how much overlap there is between worlds.

[Similarities in legends and lore, animals, food, even languages to some degree. It's quite remarkable and sometime Ginia knows she could spend decades studying and never grow tired of.]

Maybe we're all linked without even knowing it.

[It's weird and yet very fascinating. What are the chances two completely different worlds would have the same games?]

I haven't played them myself, but the titles sound familiar. Does Nintendo mean anything to you?

[ And Red is nodding again! ]

I've got an S-N-E-S at home! I used to play their games all the time when I was younger! [ This isn't a type of fanboyism Red's gotten to share so much - other things he's concerned himself over. But, it's really exciting in his head. ]

Have you played one? How about the N-E-S?

[Definitely heard of those, the newer consoles too. While she never had a chance to play video games as a kid, arcade aside, she certainly spoiled her niece and nephew with consoles.]

My family didn't have the money to buy one when I was younger, but I've definitely heard of them. I noticed the rec center has some Nintendo consoles.

[ Oh no, what a crying shame she's never gotten to play one as a kid...! ]
