Hi. Does anyone know how people make perfumes? Or the sticks that you burn and they give off smells.
And... I want to know about plants and medicines too! So if anyone knows just send me a message, okay? I don't want to know everything, just one or two things. Thanks.
[ AND THEN LATER ON IN THE DAY- ]
Hi, can I meet with someone who can make a ball of water without it touching anything? I want to try an attack on it, so - if you don't care about water exploding and you have a free hour sometime, let me know! Thanks!
[ Action ]
[ For the day (or even a few days before or after), Red can be found in a few number of places. First are trips into the bakery, grocery shop, convenience store -- heck, he'll visit all of the coffee/tea/restaurants/places that look like they serve food in them (oh, maybe he'll get a glimpse of that beautiful lady today...!). He shall also be carrying Very Big Bags that food is going in. After that - or somewhere in all of that, whenever the place opens - is a visit to the flower shop, the boy look at the flowers with his pikachu on his shoulder but really, he's waiting to see someone who runs it!
After that and grabbing a quick bite to eat is a visit to the Willow Tree, and then a visit to the Farmlands to see if there's anything to be done and to check in on Luke Skywalker's bantha Hamal. Doesn't matter if you're back to seeing him Luke, Red and him are bros. Red's pokémon Venusaur is out as always around this time (and everyone else, though those guys are eating), at a section of the ground with her multiple vines on the ground. Her flower is glowing softly, and the ground around her is actually poking out with small dots of green... is that grass? And do the plants in front of her look more grown?
Later on comes his training with a few people, as well as going to the Battle Dome when a room's available. Except there the trainer isn't always going to be inside, instead watching over them from the viewable pane on the second floor. (Hey is that Vegeta?? THAT GUY...) But there will be times when he's in there as well. Hey man who knows.
Considering the type of training they've been undertaking though, Red's not going to be at the battle dome the whole day -- his pokémon will need the rest. They'll take a walk into the forest, whether joined at whatever moment by Snorlax and Venusaur (Pikachu is an always, though the little mouse may be up in the trees at the time), sometimes stopping so that they can just chill. Red might be taking advantage of that whole just relaxing thang, but he may be testing out some tricks with the spells he's learnt. One of those will be creating a ball of light and then chucking it, bouncing it to go far - and then making it go in a flash of light at his command. What a nice waste of time.
And let's just throw in some other options too! Maybe they're on this day or a day before. Screw the rules of time. Training is an important thing for the trainer, and Red likes to make use of the open land once people get out of the forest towards the mountains. Nice and spacious, though sometimes he makes use of the teleporter to the hot springs to test the mountain ground as well.
Because they want to make some earthquakes, though trying to be mindful of other people around. With their training these days focusing more and more on how one uses their energy to cause bigger damage, getting it to do more than just shake the ground is worth testing out, and there's a different between the dirty earth and the rocky stone of the mountains...
(Gonna try hopping off if they hear anything suspicious approaching though! Yeah buddy we're talking about you. You know who you are.)
And then some days there's a visit to the beach. Big bird Lugia, are you going to be helping with that sometimes? Or at least a ride back to the village? Thanks bro. Because they've been having test matches against each other, Red's three pokémon against such an astounding legendary of the sea. And when they're not fighting? It's chilling on the beach together, Red with his journal out to read to the oversized seagull.
Or a Snorlax might be punching the water. Or kicking it. The sand too. Who even likes sand. ]

I'll accept auntie. For the record, I am actually an aunt. My older brother has two kids.
[Action]
Is it weird knowing your brother's got kids?
[Action]
[There's a sad smile as Ginia writes everything out. Never did get to meet them, only ever saw them through photos and video calls, plenty of emails. She was the aunt that spoiled them with gifts, but was never around either.]
And a little. Both kids are adopted and him and his husband are good parents, but it is a little weird.
[Action]
My friend -- or my rival, he has a sister. I couldn't imagine her with kids. [ wait. ] I mean-- I could! She's really nice and everyone loves her, even pokémon! But it'd be weird too.
[ He pinches his smile back up. ] But I don't have any brother or sisters so I don't ever have to think about it for myself. Unless any of my pokémon have kids one day!
[Action]
I imagine pokémon babies are adorable.

[ You're being incredibly mean, auntie. ]

[ So bad, but so nice to remember. ]
What kind of pokémon do you think you would want hanging around? [ a beat ] You tell me what things you like - random things, whatever comes to mind. Maybe I'll know a pokémon that fits it!
[Action]
I've always liked dogs, cats, and horses, so I'd probably like a pokémon based on one of those. Dragon pokémon sound really cool too.
[Action]
Dragon pokémon - Dratini - ??? - Dragonite
They look long and blue without any wings until they evolve into dragonite and then they're orange with a white belly. Lance has one in Luceti
Vulpix - fire pokémon They evolve into Ninetales
They're soft with bunch of tails and they're a brown-orange color until they evolve and turn a cream color. They're on all fours like cats and dogs
Growlithe and Arcanine are fire pokémon too but arcanine are really big
Meowth and Persian - normal type pokémon
They're more like cats I think. They really like stealing things especially coins
Ponyta and Rapidash are fire pokémon like horses but they have fire where their hair is
Eevee - normal pokémon
They walk on all fours and are cute like vulpixes and they can evolve into different pokémon if you give them a special elemental stone (fire, water, thunder)
Tauros
I don't know a lot about tauros but they're like ponyta but they're not on fire and they have hair around their necks and two horns on their heads
Slowpoke are water pokémon on all fours but they don't have any fur. They've got really funny faces and look clueless all the time
Nidoran are four legged and cute too.
Rhydon
Sandshrew isn't on all fours but they can and mine has always had the most cutest face okay you would find her really cute!
[ okay maybe he's done HERE. LET HIM TURN AROUND THE BOOK. ]
Here's a bunch of pokémon! I'll tell you more about them if you want. I don't know them all but I know some.
[Action]
Do you think there are any other pokémon that would be good for me?
[Action]
Difficult, actually, considering he's never done it. But he did say he'd try it, so.... give him some time to think... ]
Sandshrew/Sandslash (ground type) are good because they can burrow and create clouds of dust. Good at hiding but they can sneak around and have hard bodies. Sharp claws
Weedle/Kakuna/Beedrill (poison and flying types) can fly fast and they can shoot pins like bullets from a gun. Good at confusing opponents too if they move fast enough because they can make it look like there's swarms of them
Diglett/Dugtrio (ground type) can dig fast underground too and can get really good at finding opponents and they can make earthquaks that confuse people. You could be fighting someone and they can go under and take them down
[ Here. Have the book back. ]
What do you think?
[Action]
Red's suggestions are good. All the pokémon would work well for sneak attacks or creating confusion that she could use to her advantage. Ginia types out a response on her phone to save space on the journal.]
Your suggestions are really good. I don't imagine pokémon often fight people, but I can see how these tactics could be used in a pokémon battle.
[Action]
I was thinking about a draft. [ He looks down at his pen, sitting it onto the table. ] But dugtrio can't do anything easily to a flying target. Beedrill would be better. Sandslash would still be okay if you know what to do.
[ Oh! ] Or you can try training a dugtrio to use ground above it like a projectile. They can work for quick escapes too.
[Action]
How about a pokémon that could prevent flying targets from flying?
[Action]
[Action]
While it's on her mind, Ginia grabs a piece of origami paper and writes four names on it.
Kakashi
Pakkun
Akino
Bisuke
With the names written, she sets the paper aside for later and types up a new message on her phone.]
I wonder what the village would be like if there were more pokémon around. I know some people got pokémon here.
[Action]
But, let Red read that message... ]
Do you think it would be better?
[Action]
[Action]
I guess I agree - I mean, that's what we do with pokémon back home. But it'd be easier to have animals people know better as companions and if we learnt better to do building projects ourselves. [ He smiles. ] Like we can learn different kinds of magic here, we could all work together to make projects easier. Lots of people don't really get pokémon, so that'd mean having to learn to take care of them right, knowing what to watch for with them...
[ His voice turns amused. ] And if you had a group of snorlax walking around, you'd be having to put up with their stomachs.
