[ A Add another number to the newbie arrival for this month. Red thankfully has friendly company to help him realise what the heck is on his back, and also to rip some holes in his shirt so he can stop wearing nothing over his chest. He's carrying the rest of the clothes though, he's not messing around with changing out in a forest at this time.
Maybe you're lurking around in the forest for whatever, and wow what is that big thing you see through the trees? Or wow, what's that faint, pleasant smell in the air?
But they'll also be found in the town, with the boy and his three pokémon finding themselves led there thanks to a good pair of ears.
They're free to approach, or maybe Red will approach your character should they not seem to be in a rush. ]
Uh, excuse me?
[ B A little trouble may or may not occur. Did somebody say something about Luceti and cookies??? Who's cooking? Because that aforementioned big round guy? Red was led to the town by Pikachu's ears and Snorlax's impressive Food Is Here senses. So if anybody is baking right now, the snorlax might juuust try to circle around your house (or wherever it is you're cooking), to try and find the source and how to get to the source.
What is that shadow creeping outside your kitchen window? What is that rattling on your door knob? Are you not even in a house with food? Well, you may not be so alone for long...
Hi, sexy food havers.
Restaurants are also not safe. ]

[ Red may or may not really get this thing already. Either way he, with maybe the head of one of his pokémon peeking at the side, will be looking at the book in bewilderment. ]
Uh... Hello?
[ A+ work, Red. ]

Uh... Hello?
[ A+ work, Red. ]

Of course, once Snorlax's ever at a door, it doesn't usually go well in Red's very limited experience with him. So whatever Red thinks about the gyarados, the boy runs up to Snorlax to put his hands on him and to make sure he doesn't do anything drastic.]
Don't bust down these doors, okay Snorlax!? Someone'll get mad...!
[Red doesn't even know if the gyarados is really fine with them going in or not!!]
no subject
Oh boy, that's a Snorlax- and a hungry looking one, at that.]
I can get you a snack, but I can't feed you until you're full. [Is. Is that a fair offer, Snorlax? He hasn't quite caught onto the trainer behind it.]
no subject
Is that okay?
[Speaking up a bit there, and making his way to the side of Snorlax...! Hello, trying to peek round a stomach here to the house owner!]
1/2
That kid looks a lot like Red.
...Come to think of it, he also looks a little like Ash- but he has a Snorlax. And Ivysaur. ...And Pikachu...
...]
no subject
It's no big deal. You want something to eat too? [It's not every day that some new trainer that might just be a younger Red is at his doorstep.]
no subject
Yeah, please! Do you have anything for a pikachu too?
[They're eating now? Pikachu looks at Red- but if they're eating, hey hey! Pikachu's face brightens and he makes an eager sound!]

Feraligatr and Weavile both get adoring looks. Seeing all these unknown pokémon is really putting his mood up ten notches each glance of them he gets. Good enough to start to chatter!]
Sorry if Snorlax was making a racket. He's been wandering around everywhere since we got here. [A short pause.] My name's Red! And then there's Pikachu, and then Saur. We're trainers from Kanto. You're a pokémon trainer too, right?
no subject
Yeah. I'm Silver, and this is Weavile and Feraligatr. The big guy outside is Gyarados. We're from Johto.
no subject
Have you seen pokémon like mine in Johto? Oh, but you seemed to know Snorlax and Pikachu... How about an ivysaur?
no subject
And you know j]We've got plenty of the same Pokémon, though.[Alright, food for everyone. There's some fruit for Pikachu, some... everything for Snorlax...
He chooses to offer a big loaf of bread to the big guy. Definitely not enough to satisfy a Snorlax, but it's something, at least.]
no subject
Pikachu happily takes the fruit into his hands, giving a 'Pika!' in thanks before biting in. Saur is content by Red's side, though she's looking around to see if there's any nice and near enough spots that light is coming into the room. And Snorlax? Snorlax will have ten of everything - but he'll take what's given to him first, eating it up rather quickly...
Red is eyeing up Silver's two. Trying to guess their height here, so he can maybe write it down later.
Oh, but thinking about taking down a thousand notes on them. Looking back to Silver-]
What's their types? Have you had them for long?
no subject
[He's not even sure how many at this point. Five? Six? Eight? A long time. He continues to search for food for Snorlax- persishable stuff that they have to replace pretty often anyway is the best way to go.] You've seen Gyarados before, right? Mine may be a strange color [and way bigger] But he's still a normal Gyarados. I've known him about as long as I've known Feraligatr.
no subject
Umm, I've never seen a gyarados... are they common in Johto? But I've never really been out to sea yet!
[That's his excuse and he's sticking with it. (he hopes it makes sense)]
no subject
They're not common, but they're not rare. [There are a lot of them at the Lake of Rage, but everywhere else? Not so much...] They're the evolved form of Magikarp.
[You know, the weak floppy fish that's everywhere and only knows splash for a really long time? Yeah, that thing.]
no subject
Whaaaat? From magikarp!? You mean that floppy red fish that didn't know how to hit anything until recently?!
[yeah i just stole what you said, so what]
no subject
[You too can have a giant murder fish one day.]
no subject
I was starting to think the salesman lied to me! [He doesn't actually remember what he said anymore but whatever. Colour Red impressed today. He is now thinking of a beautiful evolution that may one day be...]
no subject
[What's this about a salesman?]
no subject
no subject
But someone selling Pokémon? The idea doesn't sit with him very well, but whatever. At least it went to a good trainer.
...Or what he's assuming is a good trainer. His Pokémon seem happy enough...]
It's worth raising if you have the time.
no subject
But he's shy too, and I've got another pokémon like that, so I know he's been trying his best.
[Despite just calling it a floppy red fish he loves all his pokémon ok.]
