[ action / forest & town ]

[ A Add another number to the newbie arrival for this month. Red thankfully has friendly company to help him realise what the heck is on his back, and also to rip some holes in his shirt so he can stop wearing nothing over his chest. He's carrying the rest of the clothes though, he's not messing around with changing out in a forest at this time.

Maybe you're lurking around in the forest for whatever, and wow what is that big thing you see through the trees? Or wow, what's that faint, pleasant smell in the air?

But they'll also be found in the town, with the boy and his three pokémon finding themselves led there thanks to a good pair of ears.

They're free to approach, or maybe Red will approach your character should they not seem to be in a rush. ]

Uh, excuse me?

[ B A little trouble may or may not occur. Did somebody say something about Luceti and cookies??? Who's cooking? Because that aforementioned big round guy? Red was led to the town by Pikachu's ears and Snorlax's impressive Food Is Here senses. So if anybody is baking right now, the snorlax might juuust try to circle around your house (or wherever it is you're cooking), to try and find the source and how to get to the source.

What is that shadow creeping outside your kitchen window? What is that rattling on your door knob? Are you not even in a house with food? Well, you may not be so alone for long...

Hi, sexy food havers.

Restaurants are also not safe. ]

[ voice/video ]

[ Red may or may not really get this thing already. Either way he, with maybe the head of one of his pokémon peeking at the side, will be looking at the book in bewilderment. ]

Uh... Hello?

[ A+ work, Red. ]

[Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa.

That kid looks a lot like Red.

...Come to think of it, he also looks a little like Ash- but he has a Snorlax. And Ivysaur. ...And Pikachu...

...]
feistytrader: (say what now)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-16 09:47 am (UTC)(link)
[...But it's rude to just stare, and he doesn't want to unsettle the kid. His expression softens up pretty quickly.]

It's no big deal. You want something to eat too? [It's not every day that some new trainer that might just be a younger Red is at his doorstep.]
feistytrader: (this sneasel is just a year old)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-16 09:57 am (UTC)(link)
Sure do. [He'll get out of the way so they can come in- sorry for the wait, Snorlax- and head right over to the kitchen. His Weavile and Feraligatr are quick to briefly greet Red and his Pokémon before joining in on grabbing a bite to eat.]
feistytrader: (capes are totally cool)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-16 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[Snorlax and Pikachu don't have nicknames, but Saur is still Saur. Maybe he's some other Red? He doesn't know enough to find out yet.]

Yeah. I'm Silver, and this is Weavile and Feraligatr. The big guy outside is Gyarados. We're from Johto.

I've seen trainers with all three of them before, but they're not very common in Johto. [At least, not from what he's seen. Viridian Forest is still your best bet for a Pikachu, at any rate. And you know j] We've got plenty of the same Pokémon, though.

[Alright, food for everyone. There's some fruit for Pikachu, some... everything for Snorlax...

He chooses to offer a big loaf of bread to the big guy. Definitely not enough to satisfy a Snorlax, but it's something, at least.]

Weavile's a Dark/Ice type, and we've been partners since we were babies. [Doesn't get much longer than that.] Feraligatr's a Water-type, and I've known him for years.

[He's not even sure how many at this point. Five? Six? Eight? A long time. He continues to search for food for Snorlax- persishable stuff that they have to replace pretty often anyway is the best way to go.] You've seen Gyarados before, right? Mine may be a strange color [and way bigger] But he's still a normal Gyarados. I've known him about as long as I've known Feraligatr.
feistytrader: (okay then)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-24 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
[He's never been out to sea...?]

They're not common, but they're not rare. [There are a lot of them at the Lake of Rage, but everywhere else? Not so much...] They're the evolved form of Magikarp.

[You know, the weak floppy fish that's everywhere and only knows splash for a really long time? Yeah, that thing.]
feistytrader: (chillin like a. protag.)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-24 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
You got it.

[You too can have a giant murder fish one day.]

feistytrader: (hi your window was open I swear)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-24 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
...Salesman?

[What's this about a salesman?]
feistytrader: (listening in)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2014-03-24 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
[...Well, Magikarp are everywhere and aren't particularly hard to catch...

But someone selling Pokémon? The idea doesn't sit with him very well, but whatever. At least it went to a good trainer.

...Or what he's assuming is a good trainer. His Pokémon seem happy enough...]

It's worth raising if you have the time.
