[ A Add another number to the newbie arrival for this month. Red thankfully has friendly company to help him realise what the heck is on his back, and also to rip some holes in his shirt so he can stop wearing nothing over his chest. He's carrying the rest of the clothes though, he's not messing around with changing out in a forest at this time.

Maybe you're lurking around in the forest for whatever, and wow what is that big thing you see through the trees? Or wow, what's that faint, pleasant smell in the air?

But they'll also be found in the town, with the boy and his three pokémon finding themselves led there thanks to a good pair of ears.

They're free to approach, or maybe Red will approach your character should they not seem to be in a rush. ]

Uh, excuse me?

[ B A little trouble may or may not occur. Did somebody say something about Luceti and cookies??? Who's cooking? Because that aforementioned big round guy? Red was led to the town by Pikachu's ears and Snorlax's impressive Food Is Here senses. So if anybody is baking right now, the snorlax might juuust try to circle around your house (or wherever it is you're cooking), to try and find the source and how to get to the source.

What is that shadow creeping outside your kitchen window? What is that rattling on your door knob? Are you not even in a house with food? Well, you may not be so alone for long...

Hi, sexy food havers.

Restaurants are also not safe. ]

[ voice/video ]

[ Red may or may not really get this thing already. Either way he, with maybe the head of one of his pokémon peeking at the side, will be looking at the book in bewilderment. ]

Uh... Hello?

[ A+ work, Red. ]

[She's positively beaming now.]

And do they like such things? Or does it hurt them?

[Her increasing jovial state is obvious (and infectious!), though Red has to think about it.]

It doesn't hurt them, but. [He looks to Pikachu on his shoulder.] Pikachu, do you mind it?

[Pikachu shakes his head.] Pikaaaa.

[Not a very mindful sound there! But since Saori seems so interested in pikachus, Red wants to keep talking...!]

If you give Pikachu too much electricity, he'll get a little woozy...but Pikachu can make thunder bolts-- [!] -just like your cloud did! But bigger!

[Pikachu cheers in agreement, making a little fist. HE SURE CAN.]

[That gets a laugh, merry and cheerful. The little creature is just so cute, and...if it can do that, then it's just the kind of thing she'd be interested in. Electricity is drawn to itself, after all.]

Well that's certainly something to keep in mind. I'm much the same, if truth be told. I can call up lightning much bigger than that cloud, and it actually feels nice when I can touch it.

[She reaches up a hand to Pikachu, sparks beginning to hop from one finger to the next. If he'd like a charge, or to share...she's happy to oblige.]

Only...I don't think I could ever feel too much of it. It's just such a fantastic feeling.

[Pikachu moves on Red's shoulder, closer to the end. The sparks do indeed catch his interest, and make him sniff the air towards them. His own red cheeks begin to crackle, and perhaps even their electricities mingle.

Which makes Red stop walking, a little wary, but also-]

Um- well, how about you have Pikachu?

[Carefully (though still he gets a bit of static shock on a hand), he picks Pikachu up with both of his hands, holding the pokémon in front of him.]

He can sit on your shoulder! Then you can feel it?

[The electricity does mingle with hers, and she takes in a sense of the creature, offering her own back. The pokemon might find that she's very much holding back, as there's a depth to her power that transcends mortality, but at the same time it's easy to see that she's happy to share.]

I don't mind that, certainly.

[She reaches out and picks up the pikachu gently, giving him free reign to run up her arm or be held as he will.]

He's certainly got a lot of energy...

[On all fours, Pikachu climbs up her arm and up onto her shoulder. Before, Pikachu had been wary about getting too close to her little storm cloud - he's known for sparking with the introduction to water and he didn't want to accidentally shock anybody.

But now that he's on her, he can feel that bundle of power - like a warm cozy bed. He moves his head closer to own, making a small 'pika? sound before going in and rubbing his cheek against hers - the exact place where his electricity stores itself in his body.

And with her sharing her electricity, oh, tiny sparks will be flying - and a nice current going through through him. He squeals in delight, arching his back like a cat and rubbing a bit more, but quickly stopping when he nearly loses his balance. Fortunately, he gets it back!]

[Well that certainly gets a giggle, and she nuzzles her cheek right back, golden sparks mingling with his. Her hand comes up to steady him as he almost falls, just in case, and she lets out a squeaking laugh of her own.]

Ooh! That's so cute! He's like a tiny little stormcloud!

[And it's a little odd, because this sort of sharing she's only ever done with fellow gods...and Pao-Lin...but it's definitely still pleasant.]

Goodness! His paws tickle too!

[It shoould be weird. It should be really, reeeally weird. And actually, it is, kind of, watching a person with Pikachu and actually, literally making sparks fly between, hearing Pikachu cooing like he's in a pit of voltorbs that don't fancy self-destructing in his face.

It's weird. But it's charming in an odd way too, and Red laughs a little as the two of them seem to laugh and enjoy each other. For Pikachu, he's rarely had another electrical companion until in recent time, and too much electrical charge made it get excited and self-destruct. In his face.

Pikachu isn't giving her much of his electrical - a bit, but not as much as he could dish - just for the voice in his head telling him he shouldn't go all out. But it's a moot point anyway, since what's being generated between the two of them already, somebody like Red wouldn't be able to handle well. Not at all.]

Eheheh, you two look like you're having fun.

[She's just as pleased by it, because she so rarely has the chance to interact like this with anyone...or anything...and it's enough to make her shiver in obvious enjoyment. Sharing power like that is infectious in a way, but she's very mindful to not overload Pikachu, because it just wouldn't do.

When Red speaks up, she reaches up and scratches Pikachu on the head affectionately before nodding.]

Oh, absolutely. Though perhaps we should get on our way to town. I wouldn't want to tire him out, you know. You've only just arrived.

[She gently lifts Pikachu off her shoulder and leans in, giving him a peck on the cheek before offering him back to Red.]

There's always more chances to enjoy each other's company, after all.

[Pikachu's nose and feet wiggle at the kiss, and he's of good spirits. Hey Saori, you're alright in Pikachu's books.

Red reaches out to take him, though the static in the air surrounding his pokémon reach him before he reaches him, making his fingers shoot back.]

Um, maybe Pikachu should walk...

[Just until Pikachu's cooled off. Pikachu makes a noise, agreeing to walking if he's put down.]

Oh, right! He...definitely has a charge, doesn't he?

[She laughs lightly and sets down the little troublemaker, giving him another scratch on the head.]

It's not far, so, grab your journal and we'll get going.

Okay!

[Let Red just pick up the things that were put down! And keeping the journal and jacket close to his chest. Pikachu will begin just... being chipper and moving around in front of the both of them.]

If you want, sometime I'll tell you about all the electric pokémon I know!

Oh I'd like that, most definitely.

[She's patiently waiting, and while she is she's getting out her own journal.]

I'm going to send you something from my book to yours, a guidebook written by a woman here. Honestly, the easiest thing would be to think of these books like computers, though...

Like computers? [He brings the journal out in one hand, looking at it. And waves it a bit, letting the pages flap.] What, this thing?

[And then a smile creeps on his face, looking at Saori.] Wait, gods use computers? Do you send e-mails and presents to each other?

[The fact that as much of he knows about gods are pokémons with that title, and the talk about old-fashioned clothing, there's some amusement in the imagery of Saori at one. He's being playful with the question, for sure.]

Yes. Here.

[She opens up her own journal to the main page, the one with the camera.]

And...actually no, I don't. At home, anyway. The electricity in my body will damage them. But here, well, things are a little different. There's something about this place that makes my powers weaker, so I can actually use electronic things. I've gotten pretty good at using them, but it's something I learned here.

Oh... that sounds tricky. [He decides to step closer, just to see her book and the page it's on, opening up his own to that one as well.]

There's a guide here?

[Meanwhile, behind them, Snorlax will just be making a bit of noise as he starts to walk around their area a bit, sniffing the air...]

[She nods and presses a button, so the guide should appear on his journal.]

There, I sent it to you.

[And...when she hears Snorlax making noise, she turns to look at the enormous fuzzball. What's up with him?]

[Red takes interest in what comes onto the journal first, seeing.... a long list of words. But Snorlax continues to move, forward in the direction they were going before journal faffing around. Pikachu, who had already been in front of them through his energised hopping, climbs onto Snorlax by his back, finding himself onto his shoulder.

Which actually makes Snorlax stop, from the tingling. He laughs instead, his voice deep and hard, and Red looks up from the pile of words.]

Snorlax, what's up? [The pokémon turns around, still chuckling, but manages to pat his belly with both paws. ~~Jabu jabu~~ Sorlax is hungry!]

Oh... [He turns to Saori.] I think Snorlax is getting hungry. [He takes another quick look at the guide on his book, which he raises some when he asks-] This won't go anywhere, will it?

[She's ignoring the boy for the moment, watching the pokemon as they go through their antics. When Red speaks up, she turns back to him and nods sharply.]

Yes, it won't be going anywhere. And if he's hungry, we should get to town and get him something to eat. There's plenty there.

[She waves him on and starts walking at a brisk pace. Hungry animals that size can get up to all sorts of trouble.]

[Plenty to eat, you say? Snorlax will follow you, lady! Red's hesitant for a moment but follows along as well, with Saur keeping up to his side.]

Really? Is it going to be okay? I don't have any money...

[She laughs again, looking at him cheerfully]

There's no money here, everything's free. And the reason why is a bit complicated, the guide will tell you all that when you have time to read it.

Oh. [Well, reading while they're walking won't work, so he'll just do that later-] Okay then!

[He'll go along with her! It's not like he could pay even if it weren't free, so..!]
