[ A Add another number to the newbie arrival for this month. Red thankfully has friendly company to help him realise what the heck is on his back, and also to rip some holes in his shirt so he can stop wearing nothing over his chest. He's carrying the rest of the clothes though, he's not messing around with changing out in a forest at this time.

Maybe you're lurking around in the forest for whatever, and wow what is that big thing you see through the trees? Or wow, what's that faint, pleasant smell in the air?

But they'll also be found in the town, with the boy and his three pokémon finding themselves led there thanks to a good pair of ears.

They're free to approach, or maybe Red will approach your character should they not seem to be in a rush. ]

[ B A little trouble may or may not occur. Did somebody say something about Luceti and cookies??? Who's cooking? Because that aforementioned big round guy? Red was led to the town by Pikachu's ears and Snorlax's impressive Food Is Here senses. So if anybody is baking right now, the snorlax might juuust try to circle around your house (or wherever it is you're cooking), to try and find the source and how to get to the source.

What is that shadow creeping outside your kitchen window? What is that rattling on your door knob? Are you not even in a house with food? Well, you may not be so alone for long...

[ Red may or may not really get this thing already. Either way he, with maybe the head of one of his pokémon peeking at the side, will be looking at the book in bewilderment. ]

This is Saur, my Ivysaur - and that's Pikachu! And the big guy there is Snorlax. Saur was my first ever pokémon, and I met Pikachu when I started off too! Snorlax is my latest.

I know about flying pokémon too! I was talking to bird experts before I came here.

[breezing]

I've only ever seen a Pikachu in person before! Linda is one. She's...kind of Soren's sister, I guess.

Is Linda's trainer a trainer from where I'm from? Or this place?

And yeah! Do you know about the doduo? It's in your pokédex! I met a guy who knows a lot about them.

Ummm, he's from this place!! Raven, Masaomi and I are all trainers here. And there's a fourth person, but...I don't know her name.

I've never seen a doduo before in real life!! That's just one of the entries they put on there for me.

They come up to about here [ he makes a motion with his hand ] and they're really cool to see when you're on your bike. I was on a bike road and they would just pop their heads out suddenly from the grass while looking for food! Some might even join you to show off if you're going really fast.

I caught one, too! I haven't gotten to know her that well yet, but I call her Dudu now and then. Doduo gets me tongue tied if I'm not careful.

[breezing]

But she's not here with you?

[ Since she's...vaguely aware of the three-a-trainer limit, if only because she does talk to the Pokemon trainers. ],/small>

How fast could they go? Did you ever win a race?

[ He shakes his head. ] No. They only brought these three with me... I didn't have her with me at the time.

None of them raced with me, but I saw it happen with a guy on a motorbike! He lost, then he got mad because they started laughing at him. Eheh, then he tried taking it out on me.

[breezing]

But you beat him, right? In a pokemon battle??

[ There's NO WAY someone so cool would lose to someone who tried to take out anger at laughing birds on a random guy, right? ]

Yep! Those people on the bike route all have the same pokémon, so it was an easy win. [ Thinking about that... ] It's sort of weird.

[breezing]

What is? [ She's not 100% clear on the routes and Pokemon thing... ]

[pokeboy]

That they all like the same pokémon! There's a group of them, and they all have either grimer, muk, or machop evolutions. There's plenty of other pokémon around. Why not a mankey? They're cool and strong. Or a geodude! Or nidorans!

[ Red does this really matter. ]

[breezing]

So you can figure out what type you need to beat them really easy?

[ ????? that seems LAME and SILLY of them. ]

I like FLYING types the best!

[pokeboy]

Yeah, I guess so! You could take them all down with a psychic type if you're good enough.

[ and at that, Red laughs a little. ]

Eheheh! Do you know what types you'd have to watch out for with most bird pokémon?

[breezing]

Electric, right? So, Linda...

If Linda's an electric type, sure! But then there's two more!
