Hi. Does anyone know how people make perfumes? Or the sticks that you burn and they give off smells.
And... I want to know about plants and medicines too! So if anyone knows just send me a message, okay? I don't want to know everything, just one or two things. Thanks.
[ AND THEN LATER ON IN THE DAY- ]
Hi, can I meet with someone who can make a ball of water without it touching anything? I want to try an attack on it, so - if you don't care about water exploding and you have a free hour sometime, let me know! Thanks!
[ Action ]
[ For the day (or even a few days before or after), Red can be found in a few number of places. First are trips into the bakery, grocery shop, convenience store -- heck, he'll visit all of the coffee/tea/restaurants/places that look like they serve food in them (oh, maybe he'll get a glimpse of that beautiful lady today...!). He shall also be carrying Very Big Bags that food is going in. After that - or somewhere in all of that, whenever the place opens - is a visit to the flower shop, the boy look at the flowers with his pikachu on his shoulder but really, he's waiting to see someone who runs it!
After that and grabbing a quick bite to eat is a visit to the Willow Tree, and then a visit to the Farmlands to see if there's anything to be done and to check in on Luke Skywalker's bantha Hamal. Doesn't matter if you're back to seeing him Luke, Red and him are bros. Red's pokémon Venusaur is out as always around this time (and everyone else, though those guys are eating), at a section of the ground with her multiple vines on the ground. Her flower is glowing softly, and the ground around her is actually poking out with small dots of green... is that grass? And do the plants in front of her look more grown?
Later on comes his training with a few people, as well as going to the Battle Dome when a room's available. Except there the trainer isn't always going to be inside, instead watching over them from the viewable pane on the second floor. (Hey is that Vegeta?? THAT GUY...) But there will be times when he's in there as well. Hey man who knows.
Considering the type of training they've been undertaking though, Red's not going to be at the battle dome the whole day -- his pokémon will need the rest. They'll take a walk into the forest, whether joined at whatever moment by Snorlax and Venusaur (Pikachu is an always, though the little mouse may be up in the trees at the time), sometimes stopping so that they can just chill. Red might be taking advantage of that whole just relaxing thang, but he may be testing out some tricks with the spells he's learnt. One of those will be creating a ball of light and then chucking it, bouncing it to go far - and then making it go in a flash of light at his command. What a nice waste of time.
And let's just throw in some other options too! Maybe they're on this day or a day before. Screw the rules of time. Training is an important thing for the trainer, and Red likes to make use of the open land once people get out of the forest towards the mountains. Nice and spacious, though sometimes he makes use of the teleporter to the hot springs to test the mountain ground as well.
Because they want to make some earthquakes, though trying to be mindful of other people around. With their training these days focusing more and more on how one uses their energy to cause bigger damage, getting it to do more than just shake the ground is worth testing out, and there's a different between the dirty earth and the rocky stone of the mountains...
(Gonna try hopping off if they hear anything suspicious approaching though! Yeah buddy we're talking about you. You know who you are.)
And then some days there's a visit to the beach. Big bird Lugia, are you going to be helping with that sometimes? Or at least a ride back to the village? Thanks bro. Because they've been having test matches against each other, Red's three pokémon against such an astounding legendary of the sea. And when they're not fighting? It's chilling on the beach together, Red with his journal out to read to the oversized seagull.
Or a Snorlax might be punching the water. Or kicking it. The sand too. Who even likes sand. ]

[ Pikachu is the first one to nod, followed by Charizard and Snivy. Afterwards, although who knows if Red will even get any of it, Pikachu pipes up to speak.
'I already know he's trying his best. He may not be trying to learn how to fight, or heal, or whatever else you said but what he's doing? Fighting everything that's reminding him of that happened. Working really hard to stay happy and enjoy himself as much as he can. Because that's the trainer we know. Even if it's to help us, if he isn't happy then he's not being the trainer we know, and what's worst than not knowing your trainer? I don't think that's something anyone wants and... I don't want to see him sad more than I already have.
...
He will make a decision on what to do to prepare when he's ready. When he can still be himself. '
After Pikachu is done Snivy and Charizard simply close their eyes. They don't have anything else to add. What else could be said when Ash's best friend pretty much nailed it? ]

Snorlax scoffs.
'You're all too soft. Just like your human.' He chucks a sandwich into his mouth whole, swallowing it instantly. 'You should hide him up in a stone house and never step out into the real world if he's struggling that much.'
Pikachu and Venusaur instantly pipe up in protest at him- 'Snor, shut up! You shouldn't say that!', 'Snorlax!', though Snorlax doesn't look swayed at all. Whatever. ]

'Not just anyone can get back up on their feet time and time again after something happens and smile. I think that, because of that, he's one of the strongest people I know, if not the strongest.'
This time Snivy pipes up.
'But he's already pushing that smile and his happiness. If he's constantly reminded of the worst in the world then will he be able to continue? We'd rather not find out. His happiness is just as important as our happiness is to him.' ]
no subject
Snorlax pays little heed to the growl, glancing over to Charizard but nothing more. And as for Pikachu and Snivy?
'Is this what being a pokémon of most trainers is like? You fight safely so much with each other that you're scared of facing up to what's real. Hide your heads and wait until you all feel better if you want to.' The superiority is clear in his voice, and he even smirks, looking over to Charizard.
'They say charizards are proud and fierce fighters, but what are you? Do you bow your horns even to the weak tiny magikarp?'
And he starts laughing, heavy from deep inside his throat as Pikachu sparks up to tell him to shut up. ]

'Say that again and I'll thrash you!'
Pikachu hops forward and waves his arms around.
'No, Charizard! Don't listen to him. You know his words aren't true. Not about you, and not about Ash either.'
Snivy just closes her eyes and smiles a little. That's certainly true; only Pikachu would truly know Ash inside and out and everything he's been through. But as for Snorlax's words she'll speak in a calm voice.
'If happiness is fear then I would choose fear any day if it meant being with him.' ]
no subject
'You can do what you want, sprout. But don't be surprised when sitting back doing nothing makes you wither up.'
But he's still got his eyes on Charizard through that. He adds, just for the winged one, 'Or your little flame goes out.' ]
no subject
'I won't, because it won't happen.'
Meanwhile Charizard doesn't take that well and lashes his tail again.
'You'll pay for that!'
Charizard takes a step forward but before he can do much more Ash scrambles up from his spot and steps in front of his fire lizard. ]
Stop! I don't know what's going on or what everyone has been staying but let's not fight!
no subject
His trainer better occupy their time less than getting through to these weaklings. Unless food was involved.
-- but no you loser, your trainer is going to stop this on your side too. ]
Give it up, Snorlax. What Ash and his pokémon do is up to them, not you. [ He pauses, just to give a moment before he continues. ] Can we finish eating or are you going to keep provoking Charizard?
[ Snorlax grunts dismissively; he's got no more to say to these pokémon, and he figures the Charizard is leashed by the neck anyway to not put more bite into his barks (but it might be fun to taunt him some more in the future). ]
no subject
Charizard grunts and turns his head himself, his tail flicking. Once Ash knows that his Charizard isn't going to do anything he turns and looks at Red. ]
..... I must seem weak to your Snorlax if he was provoking my Pokemon. Sorry if I seem weak to you too. [ He gives each of his Pokemon a glance before Pikachu decides to hop onto his shoulder. ] I dunno if I'll ever change your opinions, but I hope that doesn't change us being friends anyways.
no subject
Snorlax is just stubborn! I couldn't follow the conversation anyway. [ Sort of. Red folds his arms. ] Don't think about it. I just want you to take care of yourself, that's all.
no subject
Don't worry! I'll be okay. Sure, I guess I gotta think about things a little but... when it all comes down to it as long as me and my Pokemon are together there isn't anything we won't be able ta get through.
no subject
[ He returns the smile with one of his own, his voice firm and straightforward - but there's a subtle hardness to the back of it. Sure, believing in each other and sticking together was the way of any trainer. That's the way you should think.
But with how bad it had been out there, how was that enough?
'You can still end up dead.' ]
You know! [ Red's voice cheers up considerably and suddenly. He hits the palm of his hands on his legs. ] There's a small waterfall here in the mountains. D'you think you've ever seen it? We can take you there to show it!
no subject
I haven't! Yeah, that sounds like a great idea! What do you think, guys?
[ He looks to his Pokemon. Pikachu agrees enthusiastically. Snivy simply nods while Charizard shrugs. He's not a fan of waterfalls for obvious reasons but hey, if you want to go he's not gonna stop you. ]
