Hi. Does anyone know how people make perfumes? Or the sticks that you burn and they give off smells.

And... I want to know about plants and medicines too! So if anyone knows just send me a message, okay? I don't want to know everything, just one or two things. Thanks.

Hi, can I meet with someone who can make a ball of water without it touching anything? I want to try an attack on it, so - if you don't care about water exploding and you have a free hour sometime, let me know! Thanks!

[ Action ]

[ For the day (or even a few days before or after), Red can be found in a few number of places. First are trips into the bakery, grocery shop, convenience store -- heck, he'll visit all of the coffee/tea/restaurants/places that look like they serve food in them (oh, maybe he'll get a glimpse of that beautiful lady today...!). He shall also be carrying Very Big Bags that food is going in. After that - or somewhere in all of that, whenever the place opens - is a visit to the flower shop, the boy look at the flowers with his pikachu on his shoulder but really, he's waiting to see someone who runs it!

After that and grabbing a quick bite to eat is a visit to the Willow Tree, and then a visit to the Farmlands to see if there's anything to be done and to check in on Luke Skywalker's bantha Hamal. Doesn't matter if you're back to seeing him Luke, Red and him are bros. Red's pokémon Venusaur is out as always around this time (and everyone else, though those guys are eating), at a section of the ground with her multiple vines on the ground. Her flower is glowing softly, and the ground around her is actually poking out with small dots of green... is that grass? And do the plants in front of her look more grown?

Later on comes his training with a few people, as well as going to the Battle Dome when a room's available. Except there the trainer isn't always going to be inside, instead watching over them from the viewable pane on the second floor. (Hey is that Vegeta?? THAT GUY...) But there will be times when he's in there as well. Hey man who knows.

Considering the type of training they've been undertaking though, Red's not going to be at the battle dome the whole day -- his pokémon will need the rest. They'll take a walk into the forest, whether joined at whatever moment by Snorlax and Venusaur (Pikachu is an always, though the little mouse may be up in the trees at the time), sometimes stopping so that they can just chill. Red might be taking advantage of that whole just relaxing thang, but he may be testing out some tricks with the spells he's learnt. One of those will be creating a ball of light and then chucking it, bouncing it to go far - and then making it go in a flash of light at his command. What a nice waste of time.

And let's just throw in some other options too! Maybe they're on this day or a day before. Screw the rules of time. Training is an important thing for the trainer, and Red likes to make use of the open land once people get out of the forest towards the mountains. Nice and spacious, though sometimes he makes use of the teleporter to the hot springs to test the mountain ground as well.

Because they want to make some earthquakes, though trying to be mindful of other people around. With their training these days focusing more and more on how one uses their energy to cause bigger damage, getting it to do more than just shake the ground is worth testing out, and there's a different between the dirty earth and the rocky stone of the mountains...

(Gonna try hopping off if they hear anything suspicious approaching though! Yeah buddy we're talking about you. You know who you are.)

And then some days there's a visit to the beach. Big bird Lugia, are you going to be helping with that sometimes? Or at least a ride back to the village? Thanks bro. Because they've been having test matches against each other, Red's three pokémon against such an astounding legendary of the sea. And when they're not fighting? It's chilling on the beach together, Red with his journal out to read to the oversized seagull.

Or a Snorlax might be punching the water. Or kicking it. The sand too. Who even likes sand. ]

[There's a long pause as she considers the wording. Most of her life she grew up on emotions and body language. Sometimes she found trouble finding the right words. This she wanted to get right.]

I do not believe that it is a rule. [Was that the right thing to say?] As not every creature has the connection. Not even the dragons.

[Of course, magic has always been another one of those tricky words to her. Magic was something you learned in her mind. What she can do is just what she is.] I do not wish to ever see these worlds without magic.

[ It makes sense, anyway, when she corrects his understanding. Some had it, some didn't- and there was no reason to question too deeply into it (and he'd long ago been told it wasn't worth thinking too hard about such things).

He smiles a little at the last of what she says, a hum of amusement coming from his mouth. Bending, he kneels on one knee. ]

I've learnt a lot in Luceti, but I like my world best. I can't learn magic there, but at least I can learn it here and help my pokémon. [ Perhaps randomly, that makes him wonder. ] When you use magic, can you bring out any kind of element? Are you better at one than the others?

This one can not. There are others who can call more than one element to them. They are few.

[But that also makes her wonder.] One who can learn to live with the elements was born with it in their heart. If you can call the elements int his land, then in any land they should heed your call.

[ Oh. That's a thought. ]

Do you think so? [ He tries thinking about it, lips pushing together. ] But... maybe they don't like talking in my world?

[ Or someone would've surely accomplished something akin to magic by now. Wouldn't they? ]

Have you made an attempt to speak to your element in your world? Perhaps it is not that they are not listening, but it is that you are not speaking?

No... [ She had a point there. ] I guess no one's ever tried speaking to an element... I don't know how we'd do it.

[ He wonders, and then asks: ] Do you speak to yours like people speak to the spirits here?

[ It was as much experience as Red had with speaking to some force. ]

I do not know how the humans speak to elements in this land. [She places a hand on her stomach.] To speak. Is to feel. My element and I are one. There is no need for words between us. We ask and listen to one and other.

[Meaning... she doesn't really know. It just is for her.]

[ He understands, in a way that some things are simply hard to describe. Nonetheless he ponders it, if just for a few seconds. ]

...Oh! [ Well, actually. ] So if you talk to the water -- have you met anyone else that can do that here? I remember a boy who can hear water too. Or, I know that he talks to it. [ It'd been a while. ] Have you met him? He's about my age.

[It takes her a few moments to recall. Keeping track of humans have never been a strong point for her. They have such fleeting lives, but one who can hear water she DOES remember.]

Yes. The boy you speak of and this one have spoken once before. There are also other who can speak with the water.

Really? I don't know if any pokémon can do that. [ You know what? He's going to sit down cross-legged, patting the side of Venusaur as he does. ] But there's one pokémon, called an eevee? When they evolve they can take on different elements - either fire, electric, or water. And if they go with becoming a water-type, if they surround themselves in water, they can melt into it.

[ He's making hand gestures as he talks, recalling the very conversation that he got this information. ]

A man told me about it when I met him. [ And he sits his hands down. ] But what does water sound like? Does it sound the same everywhere? The water here must sound different from back home.

[Xzana studies his hands carefully as he moves them. Not sure if she truly follows what he says. Evolve? It is not a word she knows and the words around it are making it hard for her to understand.]

It... can... change at will? [Anytime? No. That didn't sound right. Red is speaking as if he means something other than one who can control more than one element.] Do they transform for the element that they wish to use?

Yes. The sound is different. [We're sorry? Did you expect her to expand on that? She's still learning the finer parts of holding a conversation.]

[ He is talking to a lady monster human person, he is fine with that much. As for now- ]

No, no, they can't change at will. They can only pick one element.

[ He points a finger onto the dirt, making a circle. ]

You've got the first form, called an eevee. And then you have three stones - a thunder stone, a water stone, and a fire stone. If you give it a thunder stone [ he makes a line from the circle, making another circle ] you get jolteon, if you give it a water stone [ he makes a line from the original circle, making another new circle ] you get vaporeon, and if you give them a fire stone [ yep, another line and circle! ] you get flareon.

[ He brings his hand up. ] But they can't go between those forms. Once the eevee's chosen a form, that's the one it's going to be from then on.

A stone can change a creature? [That seems amazing.] This one has not seen a stone that could do that. [She bends down to look closer at the drawings. Reaching forward to trace them with her claw.]

They're precious stones. [ Red cups his hands to indicate their size. ] They have an element inside them. They can't change every pokémon, but they can change some.

[ He rests his hands back down. ] Do you have any stories about the moon back home?

Yes. There are many stories of the moon. Many of how it came to be and the way that the moon plays with the water.

[Tick. Tick. Tick. Ding!]

Are those stones from the moon?

[ He shakes his head (bzzzt) ]

No, I don't think there are-- but there's stones called Moon Stones and they're from the moon!

[ So hey, mostly there. He lifts a hand and lets it fall down as he continues- ]

They say they're stones from the moon, so they have a mystical power in them. There's some pokémon that can evolve if you expose them to it too - like a pokémon called a clefairy. You can find them dancing on the nights of a full moon. [ And then there were nidorino and nidorinas that Red knew about, but what connection they had to the moon he had no clue. ]

I don't know if we have any stories about how the moon came to be, but there's stories about pokémon and the moon and the stars. And then the other stones... [ He hums, folding his arms. ] I don't now where they come from!

Perhaps they are gifts from the elements. An offering to join with it. Do you think that could be the answer?

Well... [ He doesn't sound very sure. But how can he be? Pokémon have always been the only one with any type of magical powers, and while there's all this magic being real in this world, it's...

odd.

Hm. ]

...Maybe there's places where a lot of elemental energy builds up and forms into a stone, and then- yeah. If there's a connection between the element and the pokémon, the pokémon can evolve. But then there's other pokémon that don't need it. Or they don't want to evolve.

[ Piakchu coos, tipping his head after listening to the conversation. It prompts a small exchange between Venusaur and Pikachu - Venusaur knows Pikachu needs a stone to evolve, how did evolution go for his kind? And Pikachu going through the details of the culture of his community.

Red might have a level of understanding when it comes to his team, but he can't understand it all, and this is one of the times when he allows the two to chatter to themselves. ]

You know, even if people back in my world can't be as strong or powerful like pokémon are, I still think there's ways we can help them too. We can help each other. But not everyone needs it.

Every creature changes in their own way. The brothers and sisters of mine are all different from this one. It is not odd that each pokemon change differently from another.

[Xzana turns her head to listen to the chatter between the pokemon. She can't follow it, but she's always more interested in creatures she hadn't seen before rather than humans. So she can't help but be a bit distracted by it, but she'll bring her attention back to red.]

Team. Clan. They can make each member stronger.

[ He nods, happy that she understands about that. Venusaur and Pikachu's conversation have died down, and- you know what, he was supposed to be doing things today, but he can't help but keep asking questions. ]

Can I ask you about your brother and sisters? About your world. What did you do back home?

[She pauses for a moment. Unsure how to answer. So few people have ever asked her of these things that she doesn't know where to start.

Well, that last question seems to be the easiest.]

Do? This one did as she does in this land. Hunt and live within the lake. [The idea of a job, goals, and spending free time is a little loss on her.] Do humans not have hunger in your land?

Yeah? Lots of things get hungry. [ It's such an obvious thing and answer, that Red's a little puzzled about why she even asked it. Unless... ]

Don't you do more than hunt and sleep?

[ Unless she's like a snorlax... ]

[Anything else? Is there anything else?] This one watches the fish as they swim.
