Hi. Does anyone know how people make perfumes? Or the sticks that you burn and they give off smells.

And... I want to know about plants and medicines too! So if anyone knows just send me a message, okay? I don't want to know everything, just one or two things. Thanks.

[ For the day (or even a few days before or after), Red can be found in a few number of places. First are trips into the bakery, grocery shop, convenience store -- heck, he'll visit all of the coffee/tea/restaurants/places that look like they serve food in them (oh, maybe he'll get a glimpse of that beautiful lady today...!). He shall also be carrying Very Big Bags that food is going in. After that - or somewhere in all of that, whenever the place opens - is a visit to the flower shop, the boy look at the flowers with his pikachu on his shoulder but really, he's waiting to see someone who runs it!

After that and grabbing a quick bite to eat is a visit to the Willow Tree, and then a visit to the Farmlands to see if there's anything to be done and to check in on Luke Skywalker's bantha Hamal. Doesn't matter if you're back to seeing him Luke, Red and him are bros. Red's pokémon Venusaur is out as always around this time (and everyone else, though those guys are eating), at a section of the ground with her multiple vines on the ground. Her flower is glowing softly, and the ground around her is actually poking out with small dots of green... is that grass? And do the plants in front of her look more grown?

Later on comes his training with a few people, as well as going to the Battle Dome when a room's available. Except there the trainer isn't always going to be inside, instead watching over them from the viewable pane on the second floor. (Hey is that Vegeta?? THAT GUY...) But there will be times when he's in there as well. Hey man who knows.

Considering the type of training they've been undertaking though, Red's not going to be at the battle dome the whole day -- his pokémon will need the rest. They'll take a walk into the forest, whether joined at whatever moment by Snorlax and Venusaur (Pikachu is an always, though the little mouse may be up in the trees at the time), sometimes stopping so that they can just chill. Red might be taking advantage of that whole just relaxing thang, but he may be testing out some tricks with the spells he's learnt. One of those will be creating a ball of light and then chucking it, bouncing it to go far - and then making it go in a flash of light at his command. What a nice waste of time.

And let's just throw in some other options too! Maybe they're on this day or a day before. Screw the rules of time. Training is an important thing for the trainer, and Red likes to make use of the open land once people get out of the forest towards the mountains. Nice and spacious, though sometimes he makes use of the teleporter to the hot springs to test the mountain ground as well.

Because they want to make some earthquakes, though trying to be mindful of other people around. With their training these days focusing more and more on how one uses their energy to cause bigger damage, getting it to do more than just shake the ground is worth testing out, and there's a different between the dirty earth and the rocky stone of the mountains...

(Gonna try hopping off if they hear anything suspicious approaching though! Yeah buddy we're talking about you. You know who you are.)

And then some days there's a visit to the beach. Big bird Lugia, are you going to be helping with that sometimes? Or at least a ride back to the village? Thanks bro. Because they've been having test matches against each other, Red's three pokémon against such an astounding legendary of the sea. And when they're not fighting? It's chilling on the beach together, Red with his journal out to read to the oversized seagull.

Or a Snorlax might be punching the water. Or kicking it. The sand too. Who even likes sand. ]

I don't think it's like magic! It's just like... [ uhh... ] Pokémon power? Like energy -- that's what I think it is.

[ Red nods! ] That's right. If Snorlax can turn his energy into electricity, then if he touches and messes around with magical power like water, maybe he could copy it too? --Snorlax! [ Red turns and waves the pokémon over ] Wanna come here?

[ And he will!!! Heeere he comes. Grunt, Helios. ]

It's rather fascinating, whatever it is! I know pokemon are able to use powers like magic but, ah, not entirely. Is what Snorlax can do typical of pokemon in your world then?

[ Helios will watch the large pokemon with a smile on his face. He'll definitely make room for Snorlax to get comfortable, and he'll take up a spot next to Red. ]

D'you mean make electricity? Not really. I've tried getting Venusaur to learn it, but nothing's been happening...

[ But that could be because he has no idea how to. Alas. ]

But it could be more usual than I know? I didn't know anything about snorlax before I met mine!

And you know, maybe when I finally get a hang on what you've been teaching me, I can help them learn even more.

Hm. I wonder what makes the two of them different? Perhaps it's a species sort of thing? [ Maybe it's because Venasaur is a plant like being. ]

Well it's certainly something to think about and pursue. I'll be more than glad to help you as well. Since teaching you magic is something we're already partaking in. It would fantastic if your pokemon could learn as well.

Well, Snorlax just did it without me telling him to, and I've only got guesses how it happened... but we'll keep trying and seeing if she'll get it! [ Because trying is all they can dooo. ]

Mm. [ Red nods! ] But you know... you've always done a lot for me, Helios. Do you think there's anything I can do back for you one day?

[ It might seem an out of nowhere question, buuuut! ]

[ That certainly is a surprise and it's written clearly on his face. Helios will smile though and laugh a little. ] Oh you don't have to worry about that sort of thing. I-I haven't really given it any sort of thought. [ Helios smiles he can understand the sentiment. Helios himself would ask the same thing if he would in the same position. ]

I just enjoy the company of you and your pokemon. So that's all I really need for now! [ He smiles brightly and genuinely back at the other. ]

[ Red had been told that there wouldn't be times you could help someone, so you simply had to pay it forward. So when Helios answers, he can accept that. ]

Alright, well - you can have our company whenever! [ He looks up to Snorlax, patting his arm and then turning back to Helios. ] Okay, should we give it a go? We'll just see if he can - get a feeling from your water.

[ Which is weird to say, but hey whatever works!! ]

[ Helios nods. ] Very well. Lets see if this works, shall we?

[ Helios' eyes will glow a bright green as he summons the use of his magic. Water will erupt from seemingly nowhere as he pools it together into a medium sized ball that floats between the three of them. ]

There, is that good? Or should I make it a bit larger?

That looks good! Snor?

[ The trainer and pokémon exchange a look before the creature steps forward closer to the magical water, staring at it with an expression of 'what am I supposed to do with this' before going for... sticking his paws in it.

And he stands there.

And keeps standing there.

He wiggles his hands.

... LOOKING BACK TO RED. ]

Anything, Snorlax?

[ GRUNT. Snorlax brings his hands out and shakes them. YEAH, THEY FEEL WET. Red frowns, hmming as he tries thinking. ]

Well, nothing's going to happen right away...

[ Helios will watch and take in everything that's going on. Hm. ] Well baby steps. You know it's impressive that he's even able to do this sort of thing at all, from what you've told me.

[ He smiles as he looks at Snorlax. ] I think you're doing just fine! Try it as many times as you need to.

[ Maybe he could introduce Snorlax to meditat--- hahaha yeah alright. Red furrows his brows, his mouth crooking. ]

What's it like when you use magic? [ He glances to Helios, trying to remember the time they had been in the battle dome together. ] When you use water or fire magic, isn't it different?

[ Snorlax is gonna punch the water okok ]

[ Helios tilts his head and looks back at Red and Snorlax. ]

When I use my magic? Hm. Well it really doesn't...ah feel very different from when I'm not using magic. I-I know my eyes apparently glow when I cast spells but beyond that...my magic doesn't really evoke any sort of feeling. Ah! Well, besides fatigue if I use too many spells at once. I suppose there is some heat generated when I cast fire spells and a cooling, wet, sensation when I use water. If that's of any use.

[ ...so it's just like if one were to be near a fire or to touch water. It's not as if it had to be anything special, and it seemed like two that Helios didn't even notice the effect magic had on his own eyes. Red hums uncertainly, watching Snorlax a moment. ]

...Well, whatever it feels like for Snorlax when he uses electric magic, he'll get it. [ UGH, he'll get wet paws too!! Shaking these things -- and flicking some of the water at Red. ] H-hey!

[ Just. Let him wipe his face. ] Duh. Water's wet, you know?

[ -- !! an idea! ] Oh, waitaminute -- what if we trained together for a while? And maybe something will happen from that? [ Do things until things happen, basically. ] What do you think?

[ Helios might get a little wet too but he just laughs it off and wipes it away. How refreshing. ]

Hm. That could definitely work! Snorlax learns from seeing it preformed, correct? So then we should at least attempt a few low leveled spells for him to get the hang of. How does that sound? [ He is talking to Snorlax but Red as well. ]

We haven't trained in awhile, so this lets me see how your own self studies are going too.

[ Snorlax gives a shrug at it (man, like he knows how he got it - he just got it!), but Red's more optimistic. ]

Right, I haven't showed you! [ Excuse him here, just going to need to look through his bag for a second before he gets out a notebook. Alright, where were we. ]

I still have trouble remembering the different pronunciations and what does what off the top of my head -- but once I get them right, I'm good to go! [ A good way so he didn't have to keep referring to other books, and to keep his own little cheat reminders. He's a busy boy, okay. He needs all the help he can get. ]
