Hi. Does anyone know how people make perfumes? Or the sticks that you burn and they give off smells.

And... I want to know about plants and medicines too! So if anyone knows just send me a message, okay? I don't want to know everything, just one or two things. Thanks.

Hi, can I meet with someone who can make a ball of water without it touching anything? I want to try an attack on it, so - if you don't care about water exploding and you have a free hour sometime, let me know! Thanks!

[ Action ]

[ For the day (or even a few days before or after), Red can be found in a few number of places. First are trips into the bakery, grocery shop, convenience store -- heck, he'll visit all of the coffee/tea/restaurants/places that look like they serve food in them (oh, maybe he'll get a glimpse of that beautiful lady today...!). He shall also be carrying Very Big Bags that food is going in. After that - or somewhere in all of that, whenever the place opens - is a visit to the flower shop, the boy look at the flowers with his pikachu on his shoulder but really, he's waiting to see someone who runs it!

After that and grabbing a quick bite to eat is a visit to the Willow Tree, and then a visit to the Farmlands to see if there's anything to be done and to check in on Luke Skywalker's bantha Hamal. Doesn't matter if you're back to seeing him Luke, Red and him are bros. Red's pokémon Venusaur is out as always around this time (and everyone else, though those guys are eating), at a section of the ground with her multiple vines on the ground. Her flower is glowing softly, and the ground around her is actually poking out with small dots of green... is that grass? And do the plants in front of her look more grown?

Later on comes his training with a few people, as well as going to the Battle Dome when a room's available. Except there the trainer isn't always going to be inside, instead watching over them from the viewable pane on the second floor. (Hey is that Vegeta?? THAT GUY...) But there will be times when he's in there as well. Hey man who knows.

Considering the type of training they've been undertaking though, Red's not going to be at the battle dome the whole day -- his pokémon will need the rest. They'll take a walk into the forest, whether joined at whatever moment by Snorlax and Venusaur (Pikachu is an always, though the little mouse may be up in the trees at the time), sometimes stopping so that they can just chill. Red might be taking advantage of that whole just relaxing thang, but he may be testing out some tricks with the spells he's learnt. One of those will be creating a ball of light and then chucking it, bouncing it to go far - and then making it go in a flash of light at his command. What a nice waste of time.

And let's just throw in some other options too! Maybe they're on this day or a day before. Screw the rules of time. Training is an important thing for the trainer, and Red likes to make use of the open land once people get out of the forest towards the mountains. Nice and spacious, though sometimes he makes use of the teleporter to the hot springs to test the mountain ground as well.

Because they want to make some earthquakes, though trying to be mindful of other people around. With their training these days focusing more and more on how one uses their energy to cause bigger damage, getting it to do more than just shake the ground is worth testing out, and there's a different between the dirty earth and the rocky stone of the mountains...

(Gonna try hopping off if they hear anything suspicious approaching though! Yeah buddy we're talking about you. You know who you are.)

And then some days there's a visit to the beach. Big bird Lugia, are you going to be helping with that sometimes? Or at least a ride back to the village? Thanks bro. Because they've been having test matches against each other, Red's three pokémon against such an astounding legendary of the sea. And when they're not fighting? It's chilling on the beach together, Red with his journal out to read to the oversized seagull.

Or a Snorlax might be punching the water. Or kicking it. The sand too. Who even likes sand. ]

Are you bored? [ ohoh! ] Snorlax can show you how far he can throw boulders now! We've been training it so he can smack high up targets out the air!

[ That is surely worth this face, the first time it's been used in ages. ]

Wellll, I suppose so. I did sort of want to play Mario Kart, but I think I can hold off and watch him throw some rocks.

Would you like me to give him some targets, Red?

Mario Kart? [ Hasn't Saori spoken about that before... ] Well, uh-- yeah, please! We've been training against a flying type, so it'd really help.

And then maybe we could play Mario together? [ ok so he's a tinsy bit interested...! He would ask if it's 2 player, but pffft a 2 player Mario game. ]

Then get him ready. And after, sure.

[She reaches out to the wind, grabbing up large chunks of wet sand and holding them clumped together with tightly controlled bubbles of wind. They have various shapes and sizes, to give Snor a challenge.]

[ GOOD THING I DIDN'T STICK IT OUTSIDE THE TAG.

Red has to call to the pokémon, him and Venusaur a distance from them already, but telling him to stay put and start grabbing at the few boulders he's already been making. He runs a bit to make it a little easier to give the instructions, as well as to get himself out of the way for the soon-to-be incoming projectiles. ]

Show her what you can do! Give them your best swing!!

[ So you know, his swing isn't that bag at all. He gets it from where he and Saur are to where Saori's brought up the targets, though the first one only takes some of the top of one off. WELL. NO PROBLEM. LET HIM TRY MORE! Gotta remember these targets aren't moving unlike what Saur sends out.

Smashing and making rocks out of the side is no big deal, and there's some... well, to call it speed may be unfair to what quick can be, but it's noticeably good for Snorlax. Smash and grab and throw, smash and grab and throw -- they've been practising this quite a bit, and with a few different structures for Snorlax to throw too.

Snorlax shall get them!!! Even if Saori should bring an extra challenge to them! ]

[Well the first few rocks hit without any problem, and sand splatters everywhichway as the big bearcat punctures the only barely tangible shells of air.

After the first few, she starts moving her fingers and the targets start shifting, moving around with varying degrees of speed in randomized patterns. This one might be more challenging for him as some of the sand blobs even try to dodge. Not...well...but they do try!

How does Skeet-Shooting Snorlax do?]

[ Just breaking the rock and throwing it isn't good enough -- which makes the easily moody pokémon huff and get riled, but he's learnt something about patience as his trainer has. ]

Snor! You need 'em to move faster! Think!

[ His trainer helps too, though not initially - until he understands the hint. Don't just grab and throw the largest rock: break it into half and then throw.

HOW ABOUT THAT.

...well, actually, with the randomised patterns and even the attempts to dodge the rocks, some of the first hits he gets is by luck, most likely. But it gets Red thinking, when there's still more getting out of the way and Snorlax is really getting huffy now. He's trying not to, but rrrr!!! What to do, what to do...! ]

Change of plan!! Bash into the wall and throw the largest one you can make!!

[ AYE AYE CAPTAIN. Snorlax is bashing into that wall errr let Venusaur make sure not of the above starts hitting you on the head there bro.

ALRIGHT HE'S GOT ONE AS BIG AS THE WHOLE OF HIM, RRRRRRRR HE'S GOING TO POWER UP!!!! ]

Snor!! [ woah woah woah..!! --wait, let's cheer him on! ] Go on, you can do itt!!!

[ ~~KAMEHAMAHHAAAAAA~~ THROWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! ]

[Saori claps her hands in delight when Snorlax destroys the last of her sandy creations, dropping down out of the sky and landing in the sand with a rush of air. Still laughing, she calls up one more, an enormous one, and floats it out way over the water. Much, much farther than before.]

Think you can hit that one? It's going to keep moving farther away until you do.

[ Unfortunately for the bearcat and having never used that much power at once (or in that way), he's heaving air in and out afterwards, and looking up and seeing the sight of the one beginning to drift away - and let's not even get into how so further away it is...

He goes to grab what of the boulders there are left, but in attempting to pick it up he drops it right back down, waving a paw as he grunts and no, no more. SOD IT. Snorlax is plonking his butt right down onto the sand. Give him ten....! Hours! ]

I think Snorlax is out... [ Oh well, he did just use an amazing amount of power there... they'll have to focus on training that more! Red is proud of him all the same and about to make his way over to him.

But don't get rid of it just yet Saori! For Venusaur still has plenty of her own strength, and she can even run up forward to at least bring herself somewhat closer to the target, roaring to announce that it's hers. If the ball might've moved out at all faster, no worries -- Venusaur is charging up her solar beam when she comes forward, the energy gathering up and needing to use up some time before she can shoot out a blast of the green beam out. How does that go...!? Is it still there for her to shoot at? ]

[Poof! The beam dissipates the bubble holding it up and it explodes way out over the ocean. Good job, Saur.]

Well, that's an excellent exercise. Next time I come by, I'll have to bring them both a treat or something. I've not seen rock throwing like that in a long time. He's very accurate.

[ A normally smug Snorlax would be all about getting to lap in praise, but all he does is whine when Red finally reaches him, the boy laughing as he climbs on top of him and pats him on the belly. ]

Snorlax! Saori said you've got good aim! See! All the rock throwing's been paying off!

[ GROOOOOAAAANNNN. ]

I know, Snor. You've all been working so much harder lately... [ He shifts himself, readying for a fall. ] You take a nap, OK? [ He rubs Snorlax's belly, and taking his ball sends him away. That means Red falling when his platform goes, but the hit down does really hurt. Just gotta stand up and dust himself off!! ]

[She smiles at the exhausted bearcat, and then at Red. She really will make it up to him, because she likes spoiling Snor for good jobs. And cooking is fun anyway.]

Well, while he rests, we can head into the Rec Center. Or was there more you wanted to show me here?

[ He shakes his head. ] No, it's okay. Let me get everyone!

[ Venusaur's already walking back over to them, and Pikachu's kept by Saori during that little scene. A few words to Saur and she gets put in her ball and their things are stuffed back into the bag Red brought as quickly as he can. Then, standing up, he slings the straps over a shoulder as Pikachu's perched himself onto the free one. ]

Okay! Ready, mom!

[ wait

he just said something weird right

right--HOLD ON ]

-- S-Saori! IsaidSaori!

[ OOHHH NO WHY DID HE JUST DO THAT???? ]

[When she hears that, Saori's face freezes, a momentary bout of shock paralyzing her. Did he...just...was that intentional?! Does he...see her like that?!

It's not a feeling she ever expected to have after Loki, and for a second or two her face probably shows it. She doesn't say anything, though.]

[At least, not immediately. After that pause, she just smiles at him and clamps down on the emotion. Why not? It's not like he couldn't use a mother figure, and she was looking out for him, most definitely. So...why is it a problem?

It really isn't. So, her expression melts, and she nods with an easygoing smile.]

Alright, let's go then.

[The clouds lower again, ready to carry them all the way to the Rec Center, and MARIO KART!]

[ Don't freeze. It's embarrassing enough without that look, and Red's face feels hotter than it does during any training session. There' some small sounds of trying to begin and start as an explanation, but Red doesn't have one.

And when Saori relaxes, speaks so casually, it still doesn't make Red any less like an overexcited psyduck on the inside. He stands still on the spot, not knowing what to do with his feet regardless of what Saori says, Pikachu puzzled about what's going on.

He's gotta-- he's just gotta say something first! ]

I... [ let him spit it out ] I didn't mean it! Honest!

[ pleeease believe him and don't think him weird or be mad or or things that aren't good things!! ]

[Silently, Saori steps across the distance between them and just pulls Red into a full armed hug, wrapping her arms around him and looking down at him with a face filled with warm affection.]

I wouldn't mind even if you did. It's alright, Red. I don't mind playing that part for you, when you need it.

[ He's not as much of a statue as before, still in the same spot but fidgeting from indecisive actions and thoughts. But those last words help to prompt him, Red shaking his head. ]

No-- you don't need to be. I don't need it. [ How would anyone but his mom be his mom anyway? He won't ask that, though he does slowly try to move himself out of the hug. ]

You're really great and you take care of me and my pokémon a lot, but you're my friend. And that's how I like you the most.

[ He fiddles with a wrist, rubbing a hand around it. ] I don't why I said it, I just... I dunno.

[ And he looks to the sandy surface of the ground, holding the wrist still. ]

She's got long black hair too? [ UHHH. ]

[Saori lets him go as soon as he pulls away, not wanting to force any sort of contact he doesn't want. She does, however, bend over and flash him a cheeky smile.]

Because you miss her. That's why. I miss my mother too, you know. It's natural and normal. And sometimes our tongues slip, and we say things that we're thinking about. I may remind you of your mother, in some ways. Like my hair. Or the fact that I take care of you.

[She pats his shoulder and rises up completely.]

I'll always be your friend, you know. So don't worry about that. Or about slipping up. It doesn't bother me, and there's nothing strange about it.

[ That does provide some comfort, and her explanation makes sense, Red guesses... of course, he still can't help but to put his hands on his cheeks, rubbing them childishly. ]

Mmmm, I guess. [ He shakes his head, and Pikachu has to cling onto Red's shoulder with his front paws as the boy grumbles behind his hands. But with his little moment done, he puts his hands back down and looks at Saori, still not exactly over the scene. But, with a determined voice, ]

Okay! Let's go, Saori!

[ Red's definitely ready to move on from it. ]

Yes, we should.

[Clouds descend around them and scoop them up into a fluffy embrace, picking up the little group and starting to drift lazily towards town.]

How's your head?

[ wowwww clouds. hey if he sticks his hand in one will it go right through? Because that's what Red's trying to do before Saori asks her question. ]

My head? [ huh did something with an apple happen to his head???? ]

[It will totally go through! But she steps up onto one and laughs. Try it Red!]
