[ When the video turns on in the very early morning, there's only half a face present before it comes up fully onto the screen. The boy is practically beaming at the journal, and there's only a second before-- ]

Ivysaur evolved!

[ Yes. He couldn't keep that excitement in. He's still got a really dumb smile on and he has to remember what he was going to say, a pause there before he continues. ]

If you don't know what an ivysaur is, they're a grass and poison type pokémon! Ivysaur's been with me since she was a bulbasaur and now she's huge! She's big! She's nearly as big as Snorlax is!

[ The camera faces down to a dusty ground, then comes back up. ] I'm going to show you her, okay? [ And then the book flips around, showing a large, blueish-greenish toad-skin looking monster with a flower protruding from her back from the front, standing at 6'10 (for those who can tell). She leans her head to the side, her mouth opening slightly and showing her fangs as she grunts a small sound. She's embarrassed by the fuss, but the yellow rodent at her feet displays her with his arms proudly out towards her. Pika! (Check her out!)

(Also from the background, some might be able to tell that they're at the farm. Why are they at the farm so early? Because.) ]

Isn't she cool? She is! --oh, hey, Snorlax! Stand next to her and show everyone how big she is next to you!

[ The recording swings over to show a very fat panda creature sitting down eating a pile of bread. He continues eating, and as Red begs again ("C'mon, Snooorlax!"), the creature proceeds to noisily shuffle his butt to face the opposite direction. Noopppee. ] Snor! You...!

[ Huff! He faces the screen back to himself finally, making a puffed face but not so seriously. ] Forget about him! Saur's amazing and that's all that matters!

[ And then one last smile! ]

Hmm, but what would you do if they weren't around at the time? There must of been a period where you didn't always have Pokemon around?

I did; that was before I left home. But people don't really like it if you don't go somewhere without a pokémon.

It must be rather dangerous out there then. [That's the only conclusion she could draw.]

It's not always bad. Some pokémon are harmless and won't bug you if you don't bug them, but there's pokémon that aren't like that. Don't other places have animals like that too?

[She takes a moment to think.] Yeah, they would. On my planet we've got plenty of animals like that, and some even coexist with city residence, and won't even flee until you get really close to them. The farther away you get from the cities though, the predators are not as likely to leave you alone if you just mind your own business, at least, with a few of them...

Yeah, it's like that there. Some pokémon hang out in the cities and towns because they can get food, but a lot of them stay in the wild. Snorlax lived in the wild, but even he came down to a city to eat their food. But... I don't know what snorlax are usually like. I've only ever met mine.

Hmm. Snorlax might not be a very common Pokemon then? Well, if you've only met the one you have. [She doesn't know how far he's traveled.] Wait, he ventured into a city for food? Was there not enough of it where he lived before you befriended him?

Uhh, I don't know! I don't know where he came from, but... someone said he came down from the mountains? Snorlax just really love food, so he was probably attracted to the city that way? But I don't know which mountains he came from either...

[ Maybe he should have asked Snorlax this when he was a pokémon. Alas! ]

But I doubt a pokémon like a snorlax would live anywhere without food, you know?

[The mountains? Must not be too high up in altitude then.] Yeah, I can understand completely! I mean, who doesn't love food? [Karis, you are underestimating a Snorlax's love for food.]

No one loves food as much as Snorlax does. And I really like food.

[ There is only one estimation of Snorlax's love for food and that is 900 pounds. ]

Hey, do you like cake? You can come and meet my pokémon and have some if you want! I should probably get some other food too....

[ Considering all these people he is inviting uh oh. ]

Cake!? [Consider her very interested.] I absolutely love cake! [She's got quite a sweet tooth!]

Oh, umm... you know where the fountain is in the village? When you go there, there's a road to the side before it, and you go down the bottom and there's a big tower looking building. It's there! It's where my friends live.

Hmm. A big tower looking building? [Well that shouldn't be too hard to spot.] Coming from the fountain, would I be taking a sharp right, or continue going straightish? [She just wanted to make sure.]

A sharp right! It's the path right before you enter the centre.

Alright! I know exactly which road to take now. [She nods happily.] Expect to see me there quickly once things are set up!

Sure! And sandwiches are good too, right? Do you think there should be sandwiches?

Sandwiches are great too! [Especially the ones with tuna in it!] There probably should be all different kinds! Especially if we're having a small gathering of food lovers!

Oh, right...! What kind do you like? I'll ask the cook what he thinks too!

[Red you shouldn't of asked that. PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A VERY LOUD KARIS!]

TUUUUUUUUUUUUUNAAAAAAAAAAA!! [And she slams her hands down with a giant grin on her face, her eyes sparkling.]

[ HE WAS NOT PREPARED. Red moves back, but then he looks back determinedly at the journal. ]

W-we'll get tuna! We'll get lots of it and you'll LOVE it! And it's gonna be the BEST DAY EVER for Venusaur!!

[ !!ALL FIRED UP!! ]

[She's bouncing in her chair now.]

This is going to be the greatest party ever! Maybe I should get Venusaur a gift as a congrats on evolving! [But what would she get?]

If you want to! [ Oh boy, this has got him all giddy. ] Do you want it to be a surprise? You don't have to tell us!

[ it's never too late for cake. ]

Let's keep it as a surprise. [She nods, having a small thing in mind.] Though I'll say this much, it's a bit small, but I think Venusaur will like it!
