[ When the video turns on in the very early morning, there's only half a face present before it comes up fully onto the screen. The boy is practically beaming at the journal, and there's only a second before-- ]

Ivysaur evolved!

[ Yes. He couldn't keep that excitement in. He's still got a really dumb smile on and he has to remember what he was going to say, a pause there before he continues. ]

If you don't know what an ivysaur is, they're a grass and poison type pokémon! Ivysaur's been with me since she was a bulbasaur and now she's huge! She's big! She's nearly as big as Snorlax is!

[ The camera faces down to a dusty ground, then comes back up. ] I'm going to show you her, okay? [ And then the book flips around, showing a large, blueish-greenish toad-skin looking monster with a flower protruding from her back from the front, standing at 6'10 (for those who can tell). She leans her head to the side, her mouth opening slightly and showing her fangs as she grunts a small sound. She's embarrassed by the fuss, but the yellow rodent at her feet displays her with his arms proudly out towards her. Pika! (Check her out!)

(Also from the background, some might be able to tell that they're at the farm. Why are they at the farm so early? Because.) ]

Isn't she cool? She is! --oh, hey, Snorlax! Stand next to her and show everyone how big she is next to you!

[ The recording swings over to show a very fat panda creature sitting down eating a pile of bread. He continues eating, and as Red begs again ("C'mon, Snooorlax!"), the creature proceeds to noisily shuffle his butt to face the opposite direction. Noopppee. ] Snor! You...!

[ Huff! He faces the screen back to himself finally, making a puffed face but not so seriously. ] Forget about him! Saur's amazing and that's all that matters!

[ And then one last smile! ]

[Yeah he saw!! But he still thinks you could move them out of the way... They can't be that heavy! It might be a little difficult, but still...!]

Oh right, I can do that too. [Not that well, but he can still use the dome's console for basic stuff.] When you said match I thought there might be another trainer coming along to fight with you... But I can watch you and your pokemon train as well.

[It'll probably end up being pretty interesting and fun to watch regardless of what Red plans to do.]

I don't really know how I'd compare to the other trainers here... there was one I fought that I won against, but I don't know if it counts. He was really strange when I met him.

[ He wasn't familiar with the trainer, but regardless. He was weird. ]

Strange? What do you mean by that?

[Was he strange as in the bad 'maybe it's a reason to be worried' kind of strange? Or... Was he just being a weirdo?]

He was like, saying weird things and shouting it. I don't know if he's usually like that, but I think something was up. [ He sounded like a bad game import!! ]

I told him we could have a battle sometime when he was feeling better, but I never heard from him. Actually, I forgot about it until now. [ Oops. ]

Hey, if you think something was wrong and you never heard anything from him since that time then don't you think you should check up on him? It sounds bad when the last you heard of him was just him shouting weird things...

[Maybe the guy Red is talking about is always weird and shouts a lot, he doesn't know! But if Red thinks there was something up then it would be better to go with that thought than just leave things as they are.]

[ Really? But he was just being... odd... but... ]

Maybe you're right.. but I don't know where he lives. I know he looks like another guy in the house I stay at sometimes and that he's got a golbat, but that's it. [ Hmm. ]

Maybe ask the guy who looks like him? They probably know each other.

[If they look like each other then they might be brothers! Or related in some other way at least.]

He knows him, but I don't know if he knows him that much? I talked to him about him before because I wondered if they were related, but he's meant to be, like... a different him?

And I don't think Silver hangs out with him. He's usually in the forest or watching TV.

[... He needs to go back and repeat what Red said in his head to make sure he's understood everything. So the guy, Silver, doesn't know him and they're meant to be two different people. Even though they alike. Right!]

I guess if they look the same but it's like that... It must have something to do with the worlds they're from or something. [Like. Two worlds that are kind of the same. But also different... He really doesn't know what the explanation for that could be. Anyway.] You'll have to see if he's okay some other way, like over the journals. Or maybe you'll see his Goldbat around.

[ Close enough that Red doesn't hear the difference anyway! ]

I can do that! Can you look up people on the journals? Like, you can see entries when people make them and go back, but can you look up stuff by one person or...? [ EHH. ] I guess it doesn't work if I don't know his name anyway.

You could look through everyone in the journal until you find him by looking at the little pictures... Uh, so long as you think you've found the right guy and not the person who looks like him. [That might take a lot of time though. Hmm.]

Maybe you're better off just asking about him when you next make an entry.

Yeah.... but I'll try asking Silver anyway if he's seen him! Just in case.

Fair enough, it wouldn't hurt to ask him. [...] Hopefully the guy is okay... Or maybe he's just always like that.

[But even then it would be good to at least check up on him! At least then you would know that yeah, the guy is just permaweird.]

It's okay! I'll look out for him today! I've got to wait a while before being somewhere.

[ SPEAKING OF SOMEWHERES. ]

By the way! Caius, have you ever had a cheesecake before?

Uh... Cheesecake? [He knows what cheese is and what cake is. So. It's a cake with cheese in?

Cheese is okay. But he isn't a big fan of cake. A cake with cheese in it seems like it would be pretty gross. All melty and smelling sweet but also cheesy at the same time. Or maybe you melt cheese over it or something. Either way!] No, I've never even heard of a cheesecake before. It doesn't sound like it would taste very good.

Yeah, it sounds really weird. But the man who told me about it says that it isn't as bad as it sounds? [ Did he say that? Something like it! ] And my friend told me he makes really divine cheesecake, so...

Do you want to try some with me? [ A little hushed- ] If it's really gross, we can give it to Snorlax and it won't be wasted! And I'm gonna bring some stuff with me too!

So it sounds weird, but it tastes good.

[He's pretty sure he's never eaten anything described as 'divine' before. While he is certainly no fan of cake, he's curious about just how it might end up tasting... Even if it's awful.]

Yeah okay, I'll try some too. It can't be that bad. [And then, said in the same quiet tone as Red used-] But if it is and it turns out to be really disgusting at least Snorlax will be happy.

Yeah! [ Hush hush nod nod! And then back to normal voices. ]

OK, I'll message you when it's all ready.

Alright, I'll keep an eye out then. [...] Wait a second, why're you getting this cheesecake stuff anyway? You said something about a man and a friend who said it was good...

[But that doesn't tell him why Red is getting cheesecake!]

[ Because Red is awesome? Duhhhhhh? ]

He's making it for Saur. Or, he's making one for Saur, but he's making another too? So I guess he's going to make a really big cake so everyone can have some. And my other friend lives with him, so she would know what his food is like. And he does run a café... hmm, wouldn't living with someone who cooks good food be great?

[ Oops, getting distracted. ] -- oh, but, he's making it because he said it should be like a celebration. And it's going to have raspberries and blueberries in it too. I know she'll like those!

[Compared to him Red is lame. Laaame. Where's his cake for being awesome? Not that he wants a cake for being awesome BUT STILL.]

Well I do live with Emil... [And he's pretty good at the cooking and baking thing. Anyway.] Sounds like it's gonna be a really party then. It kinda seems like it's a birthday party, huh?

[Saur's all grown up and she's getting a cake for it. Soon she'll be moving out and going to college. They grow up so fast!]

Huh... I guess so! But this isn't the day that she was born, so - it's just an evolution party.

[ Thinking about that. ] Mmm, it's a good thing Snorlax is fully evolved, I think. I don't think Luceti would have enough food if he got bigger!

[No one will ever be as cool as Red because his coolness loops around making him really lame instead. :| ]

Uh, right. [... Still kind of seems like a birthday party in a way since she's gotten bigger. Evolution is weird.] You think? So there might be a chance he'll still evolve and get even bigger than he is now?

[Half interested because WOW big pokemon. Half unsure because everyone would starve.]

[ Your logic sucks and therefore you suck. ]

If snorlax can evolve again, then yeah! I don't think they do, but what if a next evolution hasn't been discovered yet? I don't know a pokémon that doesn't get just even a tiny bit bigger when they evolve. But a pokémon like Snorlax, he's got to become massive if he did!

[ Waiting forever on mega-evolution snorlax please. ]

[Your face sucks HAH.]

How can you just not have discovered if he evolves or not yet? Has no one bothered training a Snorlax before? If he really would become that huge then I think someone would have found something out by now.

[Mega-snorlax would be some sort of eldritch abomination which feeds eternally and whose hunger can never be sated. No Snorlaxinite for you.
